7 Then the [a](A)magicians, the conjurers, the [b]Chaldeans, and the diviners came in, and I said the dream [c]to them, but they could not make its (B)interpretation known to me. 8 But at last Daniel came in before me, whose name is (C)Belteshazzar according to the name of my god, and in whom is [d](D)a spirit of the holy gods; and I said the dream [e]to him: 9 ‘O Belteshazzar, (E)chief of the magicians, since I know that (F)a spirit of the holy gods is in you, and (G)no mystery is difficult for you, (H)say to me the visions of my dream which I have seen, along with its interpretation.
